To be able to remote desktop from another computer, the computer to be remotely must be opened remote desktop access.
1. Type a keyword: remote setting in the search field (next to Start menu). Then in the top view (Best match) will appear Allow remote access to your computer. click to make remote desktop settings.
2. In Remote Desktop, select Allow remote connection to this computer.
3. Select Select user if you want to set any user who can do remote desktop. (for accounts with administrator privileges no longer need to be entered because the administrator account or member administrator already has permissions for the remote desktop).
5. In Windows Firewall, access to Remote desktop must be opened.
Example for Firewall settings in Windows 8 or Windows 10 type Allow an app through Windows firewall in the search field.
After the apps and features page appears, then locate Remote Desktop, and check / uncheck the remote desktop access is not blocked (see picture). Click OK to save the configuration.
Now it's ready to be done remote desktop by another computer connected to a LAN network or using Wi-fi, by calling the IP address or the name of the computer. (computer name can only be used if the DNS service is active).
