How to Enable Administrator Accounts in Windows 8.1

To enable or disable administrator accounts in Windows 8.1 Standard version (not Pro), you can not do this through the User and Group menu that usually resides in Computer Management in Windows-Windows before (Windows 7, Windows 8). But you can do it via Command Prompt .

How to enable or disable Windows 8.1 administrator account via Command Prompt:

• Enter Metro UI , if your Windows screen in the desktop position just press the Windows logo on the keyboard, it will move to Metro UI. (if pressed again it will move to desktop, etc)

Type cmd , it will automatically enter the search menu, and will display the Command Prompt search results, then right click on Command Prompt then select / left click on Run as administrator.

• After the Command Prompt window appears then type the following code after \ Windows \ system32 \
net user adminintrator / active: yes then press Enter key
If it works then there will be a post: The command completed successfully

• To check it out, please log off, then you will see an administrator account appear as an option to login.

• To disable the administrator account again, do as the above steps only the commands in the different command prompt will be:
net user adminintrator / active: no

This way is not only for administrator account, but can be used also for other account, just change the writer's writings with the account you mean listed on your Windows computer.

We recommend that the Administrator account on your Windows computer is left disable by default, and only used if you really need to. For everyday use.pakailah other users or create a new user if not there.
