If you have a device or product from Apple such as iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac etc., one of the facilities I think you should enable is Find My iPhone / My Mac on the iCloud menu.
By enabling the Find My iPhone feature, if you ever forget to save your iPhone or other Apple devices then you can instruct it through a computer browser that connects to the internet so that the Apple device being searched sounds, so soon known to exist.
And if your iPhone, iPad, or Mac is lost or stolen, you will be able to know where it exists, can lock the device with a password so it can not be used, you can send messages, and lastly so that your important documents do not move to others so that the device can not be used, you can delete (erase) your Apple. Everything is done from another computer browser that connects to the internet.
Here's how to enable the Find My Mac feature on a MacBook (For other Apple devices in principle it's the same)
• Run your MacBook and then connect to the internet
• Enter System Preferences menu
• Select / click iCloud

Play Sound is to sound a sound, like the sound of an alarm will be out of the Apple device amda
Lock , that is we give / send the password code on Apple device. So that other people will not be able to open it, in this option is also included with the message column, so we can send a message to the person holding our Macbook / iPhone. for example: this my iPad please contact me at the address ... dst
Erase , be careful with this option, is only done if the device is actually stolen person or is in the hands of unauthorized and there is no good faith to restore. especially if there are important or confidential documents that are not opened / used or misused by others.
For example in this option you select Lock, then the column will appear to enter the code
Be careful not to forget the code.
Then now try to open your Applenya device, there you have to enter the code / password and if wrong you can not use it.
