When you reinstall or reformat the OS (Operating system) Windows on your laptop or desktop computer, sometimes not all drivers are installed successfully, Device manager still has unknown device and you are confused which hardware has not installed the driver.
To find drivers for what hardware and simultaneously search for the driver to install, the following steps:
• Go to Device Manager, right-click on Computer ( This PC for Windows 8.1), select / left click Properties ,
• After the Device Manager window opens, right-click on the unknown device we want to know and want to install the driver.
• The properties window will appear from the unknown device ,
• Select the Details tab
• In the Property select Hardware Ids
• Value will appear from the device, highlight it, then right click and select Copy
• Open the Internet and paste the value of the unknown device in the search field (Google), to locate and download the driver.
• Or can enter the web www.devid.info for more specific search, because devid.info site specifically provides drivers for hardware / device computer.
