Backup Operating System and Applications in Windows 10

Awareness of the need to back up systems, applications and data usually comes after a problem occurs, after a corruption, system corrupt, data loss, etc., which can be caused by virus attacks or damage to storage / harddisk.

Of course, regret is useless, for that immediately do anticipation from now, do backups of data regularly. For OS (Operating system) and applications in Windows 10, we can backup by creating the image file, which has been facilitated in Windows 10, so it can be done easily.

By doing a backup system image, when a Windowsnya problem then we live to restore, Windows will return to normal including the application. No need to activate again if previously active. So very useful for Genuine or original software or applications.

The more applications installed, the bigger the image file, so it takes a lot of space for destinations that use USB flash or needed a lot of DVD when backup using CDR / RW.
To anticipate the above I prefer to backup images before installing other applications that are free / free, for example new Windows and Microsoft Office are installed, so smaller size only needed 3 or 4 pieces of DVD R only.

Backup the image using an external hard drive may be a good solution because the external harddisk is currently large-capacity so that even if many applications are installed not a problem it will be easier to save it to an external hard drive.

How to Backup a System Image in Windows 10

Backup Image can be stored on harddisk, flashdisk, or DVD R / RW.
Prepare media which is more fitting for you, which must be spacenya adjusted to the size of the image file.

• Go to Control Panel
One way to get into the Control Panel is through the Run menu (press Windows Logo + R), then type: control then click OK or press Enter.

• The Control Panel window will appear. In View by Select by small or large icons, then select File History

• Then select / click on System Image Backup:

Then select Create a system image

Select destination to save Image, can on harddisk (internal or external), flashdisk, or DVD R / RW.

I chose DVD R for backup destinations, so as not to be affected if the physical hard drive is damaged.

For DVD R / RW destinations there will be a command when to insert DVD, to 1, 2, 3 and so on according to the size of the image file.

When finished making Image backup, there will be a notification that suggest to make
system repair disc, should be followed to make system repair discs because system repair disc is needed when a time Windows problem. And for the purposes of the restore of the newly created image backup system, the system repair disc is required.
